I was an external auditor for 6 years. After going for a heart screening due to palpitations and abnormal breathing in 2018, the health scare triggered me to think about what I really wanted in life. My uncle passed away from a heart attack at the same time that my cousin had a brain tumour, and it made me realise the importance of insurance. I decided to take the leap of faith and become a financial consultant.
