Sometimes it takes some time out on your own to find your way back home. It took me many years to find out what I want in a career. Despite going through 6 years of education in mechanical engineering, I figured that what I truly wanted was a career in that I can directly touch the lives of others. I am a strong advocate of mental well-being and as a Financial Consultant, I was able to bring forth hope through financial planning, and create deeper conversations through my values.

Doing my best for the people around me.
Heading into the fourth year of my career, I have realised that the work I do has greatly contributed to my growth. Forging tighter bonds with my clients and going through life with them have made me a better person who is able to listen with my heart and act with the best interests in mind. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them and my past experiences. This business hasn’t been all rainbows and butterflies and when it comes to financial planning, each situation is uniquely different and I use my heart to think of the best solution possible, to fit each individual’s personal journey.

The essence of life is to be empathetic.
My brother has been and will always be my greatest inspiration. He has shown me the power which vulnerability brings and this made me realise that the essence of life is to be empathetic. Even though he had gone through various obstacles in life, he taught me that I should never give up and that I should always be kind to everyone. Similar to all things in life, feelings come and go and we have to be able to be brave enough to face, accept and conquer them. Based on my personal experience, the qualities above are something that I bring forward from home over to my clients. I bear a large responsibility in taking care of my family as well as my clients and I do so by showing love, care and hope, and providing a guiding hand to help them progress as the years go by.

Moving forward.
My ultimate goal in this business is to impact as many lives as possible and this can only be done through the creation of my own team of business partners. As the saying goes ““I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.”
I am looking to build a team of young, genuine and responsible individuals to join me in impacting the lives of others. I certainly hope to cast these stones to my future team, and they will be the ripple to continue impacting lives. Together we can do so much more.

Find the right mentor.
Sushi tastes better with a cup of green tea, but if you eat it with Coca-Cola, it doesn’t taste as good. The right combination comes when you find a mentor who can provide you with the right taste bud. I’m fortunate to have been blessed with the right mentors ever since stepping foot into this industry. In return, I want to be someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.
