I began my journey as a financial consultant in June 1995 and transitioned to AIA FA in March 2023. My entry into this field was marked by a mid-career switch after having worked for two other companies. I chose this career because I believe strongly in the value of insurance and its potential to provide crucial support to families and loved ones during their times of need.

Throughout my career, my overarching goal has been to identify and nurture talent within the industry. I aim to develop at least 10 leaders within AIA FA, helping them to not only succeed in their careers but also to make a significant positive impact on the lives of others. My focus is on building a legacy of leadership and success that extends beyond my individual contributions.

One of the most valuable lessons I have learned as both a financial consultant and a leader is the importance of personal growth. This career has taught me how to continually evolve and improve as a person, enriching my life and the lives of those I interact with professionally.

What keeps me motivated is the profound satisfaction that comes from helping individuals and families plan for their financial futures. Knowing that I have made a meaningful difference in securing their financial well-being provides a deep sense of fulfillment.

For new financial consultants entering the field, the key to success is a willingness to learn and absorb advice from mentors, IOs, and leaders. The wisdom and experience shared by these individuals are invaluable as you navigate the complexities of the industry.

To those considering a career in financial advisory, my advice is simple: be open to exploring this field and give it a chance. You never truly know what this career offers until you experience it firsthand.
