I became a financial consultant in 2022 after leaving the corporate space where I worked for a highly respectable shipping firm. I decided to make the switch as I was in search of a career that could bring me a greater sense of fulfilment. I wanted to make lives better, and to add value to the people whom I have met from all walks of life, and was naturally attracted to the financial advisory industry.

Since then, I have come to enjoy the daily conversations that I have with my clients, friends and family. The friendships and connections formed through financial advisory are a lot deeper and more meaningful than I had imagined. Being able to assist parents in reducing their premiums and making sure that each and everyone is well protected gives me a strong sense of fulfilment.

My goal is to build a community of 500 working professionals and families who can live easier, knowing that their future goals are secured, their lives are insured and their short-term goals are met. I plan on achieving this by the 5th year with AIAFA.

My goal is to help my parents retire as early as possible, and to provide comfortable living conditions for my family keeps me on my toes and pushes me to work hard. My mentor, Wilfred Wong, is a huge influence on my career as a FC. He inspires me to be as generous and loving towards others and always have that constant need and drive for self-improvement and knowledge.

I have found myself growing exponentially after joining the financial advisory industry – my mindset has gotten stronger. It takes a certain trait and personality to be self-employed and actually do well. The level of self-discipline,, perseverance and patience needed in this career is demanding. Now, I look forward to having my team of like-minded individuals who are ready to revolutionize the financial planning industry along with me.
