Financial consulting was not a path I originally considered, but it was what ultimately led me down the path of success. I have been in the industry for 7 years — though I graduated with a degree in accountancy and started out as a regional salesman, I decided it wasn’t the career for me and joined my mother in financial consulting instead.

Fortunately, I have not looked back since. I was awarded AIA FA Top Director 2020 — 1st Runner Up, and my other accolades include being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table 2021, AIA FA Pinnacle Club 2021 (Gold Unit), AIA FA Prestige Club 2021 (Gold) and the International Dragon Bronze Award 2021 (Agent Category).

Be passionate, and have love for people.

My motivation in this industry comes from the personal fulfilment and satisfaction that comes from serving my clients. I believe that service, passion and love for people are the most important traits that all financial consultants should have, and there is no dream too big to achieve as long as one keeps working towards it.

Stay humble, stay hungry.

As a director in the industry, I believe that growth in self is to support growth in others, and leading my team of financial consultants requires me to also always lead myself well. As a leader, I encourage my teammates to always stay humble and stay hungry, and I always strive to be the light and support of my team.

Embrace change.

Adaptability is crucial in order to survive in this dynamic industry. Change is the only constant, and resisting it will only do your career more harm than good. Clients’ needs are fast evolving, and us financial consultants have to always remain agile to adapt to those needs in order to provide valuable solutions that best meet their goals.
