I decided to join the financial advisory industry when I graduated. I struggled through the first 2 years in my career, but decided to stick on until I succeeded. Now, I’ve been with AIA for more than 4 years and I appreciate every single person who believed in, guided and invested in me to bring me where I am today.

Follow the footsteps of your mentor.

My greatest inspiration being in this business is my boss, Gabriel Tan. His consistency and discipline really inspires me to work hard to be just like him, as he possesses all the right qualities that a financial consultant should have to succeed.

A hope you can cling on to.

I always tell my clients how insurance is that one must-have that brings comfort to us when we are faced with dire situations. It’s a piece of hope for us to cling on to. To me, I derive the most satisfaction when I see my clients attain financial independence, and are able to enjoy a good retirement without needing to worry financially.

A long-term career that takes time to build. 

Financial consulting is a long term career, and trust will not be built in a day. Being in this business requires building long-term relationships with clients, and to bring comfort to families in good times and bad times. In bad times, families are comforted knowing bills and claims will be settled. In good times, I love informing clients of their maturing policies and helping them become financially independent.
