Thank your mentors.

I would like to thank my mentor, Terence Lim, for guiding me throughout this journey and showing me the true purpose of what it means to be a financial consultant. I believe having the right mentor is key to starting out in this business, and I am lucky to have found one who aligns with my values.

Sharing experiences with clients.

I have the added advantage of having a finance background from school, and I also used to trade in forex and stocks. Hence, I am able to share my financial experience from there to my clients, and at the same time build trust with them knowing that I’m no stranger to finance.

Have the right mindset. 

Surviving in this industry is all about mentality above everything else. Strive to provide genuine and heartfelt service, and you will naturally reap the rewards in the long run. This line of work is not for people seeking short-term gains, as it is a job hinged upon building lifelong relationships with people who’ve entrusted their financial portfolios with you.
