After having been a chemical engineer, underwriter, and entrepreneur, I made the decision of taking a career leap, and forayed into the financial consultancy industry almost two years ago. Despite being relatively fresh in the industry, I have been effectively providing sound financial advice to my clients, and have earned accolades such as being a member of the 2020 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and a recipient of the 2020 Bronze Dragon Award of the International Dragon Award (IDA).

My ability to positively impact and change clients’ and team members’ lives and giving the best to my young family are the key drivers that keep me motivated as a financial consultant.

Aside from providing my clients with sound financial advice, I also play the role of friend, listening ear, referral centre, life advisor, counsellor, and golf and gaming buddies to my clients.

In this industry, a financial consultant who is honest, thinks of his clients’ best interests, and does not mince his words to sway clients to take actions to make a difference in their lives, will always add value to all his clients. I believe my honesty and sincerity are my biggest strengths as a financial consultant.

Achieving my MDRT and IDA awards are the proudest moments in my career so far. Having good work ethics and always thinking in the client’s interests will allow clients to build and have trust in you as an advisor, and I believe this is what helped me earn these accolades.
