I was in business mortgage for 3 years in the earlier years of my career, before moving on to work for my family for 6 years in fashion retail. After that, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone to explore something else that would push my limits — and that’s how I started my journey in financial consulting.

The nature of this work has brought me so much closer to many of my friends and family, and that includes their families as well. I’ve gained so much more control and clarity in the direction of my career, and it makes me grateful for deciding to explore this path after impacting so many people’s lives.

There are always going to be changes in the financial advisory industry, and the only way to provide the best, most relevant advice to my clients is to keep an open mind and always upgrade myself to keep up with these changes.

Be determined, disciplined and hardworking.

The initial stages in this career might be tough in both learning and gaining the trust of your clients, but with sincerity and perseverance, you will eventually enjoy the fruits of your labour.

After being in this career for 1.5 years, I’ve seen myself become a close friend and the go-to person for several of my clients. I’m proud and grateful to be their chosen confidant, as it’s testament to the dedication I’ve put into this career to win their trust.
