I was from a corporate training background, and worked there for 4 years before making the switch to become a financial consultant. 9 years since the start of this journey, I now lead a growing team of 80 passionate and driven young individuals committed to impacting lives. My accolades include achieving Top Associate Director in 2018 and 2019, Top 10 Directors (2020,2021,2022) and Top 10 Senior Director (2023) as well as qualifying for the International Dragon Award in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. I am also a father of 2 beautiful girls.

The key drivers that keep me motivated.
The 80 people in my team who look to me to add value to their lives and to keep the promises I made to them when they joined me in this business are my true drivers. Not forgetting my clients who also play a key role for my motivation by placing their trust in me, because I have to do well in order to serve them well.

Besides being a financial consultant to them, I also play varied roles in my clients’ lives. To my older clients, I am also a disciple, learning from the wisdom they have accumulated over the years of their lives. To my peers, I would like to think that I play the role of a thought leader, the go-to person when it comes to anything finance-related. And to my younger clients, I play the role of a mentor, not only in finance, but also in leadership and in life.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred or converted.
I would consider my biggest strength as a financial consultant to be my skill in being able to transfer and channel energy with limitless enthusiasm, and to empower people to take action, whether it is to take that step of confidence to join me in this business, or to take that step of purchasing a solution that you did not know you needed.

The proudest accolade of my career.
I was instrumental in grooming and promoting a Top Associate Director (2019, 2020) Angie Lee Zhi Hui. And again a Top Associate Director (2022) and Top Director (2023) in Ong Xun Qin. I believe that the genes of any organisation will only strengthen with a younger, more energetic and creative workforce. To have promoted a Top Associate Director after achieving the same feat the year before is testimony to a systematic and replicable process, which anyone with the passion and drive to succeed can achieve.
