Instead of pursuing academic qualifications and climbing the conventional corporate ladder to find success, I decided on the road less travelled and to rely on my entrepreneurial spirit and self-discipline to achieve my dreams.

In 2017, I joined the financial advisory industry and having found professional success with the invaluable support of my mentors, I also experienced first-hand the difference a good leader can make. Since July 2020, I have taken it upon myself to pay it forward by being a mentor and leader to motivate and inspire others in turn.

Selflessness and self-awareness should be ever present for a leader
Witnessing the lives of my associates and their families improve brings me the greatest job satisfaction so accountability and responsibility for my associates’ success remain my strongest motivators. When you choose to take on the role of a leader, you forfeit your rights; you are there to serve the people, to help them realize their dreams.

The tenacity to push through all odds
With every new associate who joins, I see a younger version of myself in them and understand the trust they have placed in me to bring a better life for them. In my opinion, one of the most important qualities that a leader should possess is the tenacity to push through all odds. Even when everyone else has doubts, a leader must persevere. I focus on leading my associates with empathy, an open heart, and an ear, and by showing them they can dream the biggest dream possible.
