I started my journey in the financial advisory industry in August 2021, after spending two years at Advisors Alliance Group where my interest in this field deepened. With a background in Chemical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, I grew up in a family where financial planning was not prioritised, and I became passionate about educating and empowering those around me with the knowledge I’ve acquired.

It has been over two and a half years since I became a licensed financial consultant. During this time, I’ve found immense satisfaction in enhancing the financial well-being of my friends and family. My goal is not just to inform, but to ensure they are better protected and prepared for the future.

Looking ahead, I am determined to rise to the position of Executive Director at Advisors Alliance Group within the next eight years. My ambition is to cultivate a team that embodies drive, dedication, and a profound commitment to serving the community. Simultaneously, I aim to maintain my role actively in sales to continue growing alongside my clients and friends, ensuring they receive the best possible advice and solutions.

One crucial lesson I’ve learned is the importance of accurate analysis and tailored recommendations. Proper training and a sincere desire to serve ensure that our solutions invariably improve our clients’ financial positions. My approach is always to listen intently and serve passionately, which helps build trust and strengthen relationships.

In 2022, personal experiences with loss among close friends brought home the unpredictable nature of life and the essential role of a financial consultant. These experiences underscored the importance of our work, providing protection and financial security to families during their most challenging times. This realisation keeps me disciplined and motivates me daily to uphold my responsibilities with the utmost integrity.
