I embarked on my career as a financial consultant with AIA in July 2023. This was a decision made during my studies in civil engineering, where I initially did financial consulting as a mere exploration to understand another career path. This slowly morphed into a passion driven by the impact and fulfillment it offered. The more I delved into the financial world, the more I realised the profound effect proper financial planning could have on individuals and families. The dynamic nature of this field, coupled with the opportunity to directly impact people’s lives, solidified my decision to transition into this sector permanently.

What makes this career rewarding for me is to be able to witness families who have benefitted from one way or another from just a piece of document with legal phrases and figures, known as the life insurance policy. While the dollar amounts may seem like just numbers on a paper, its significance is profound when it ensures a peace of mind, and it also symbolises the enduring love for one’s family.

Through these encounters, it’s made me appreciate and recognise the urgent and essential need for everyone to undergo proper financial planning. My goal is to be that provider and educator, and to touch as many lives as possible to safeguard their financial positions and achieve their aspirations.
