I was an IT solutions sales manager for many years before I became a financial consultant. I have always been a strong believer in insurance, and when I learnt more about the full suite of services that a financial consultant can provide to clients, I was convinced that it’s a career that I would like to be in as it serves a greater purpose. I’m really glad I took that bold step to make a mid-career switch, as I definitely feel like I am impacting more lives than before.

A people’s business
I was brought into this industry as I have always been a people’s person. I truly enjoy talking to people, understanding and analysing their needs, and addressing their needs by proposing the right product/service. When clients are happy with my services, that’s when I find the greatest joy and satisfaction. As an active value momentum investor in the stock market and funds, I strive to help my clients achieve financial freedom as soon as they can.

A desire to serve
I keep myself going and motivated by providing good services to friends and clients who have placed their trust in me, and believe that I will continue value-adding to their lives. I strive to excel in this career so that I can continue to serve them to the best of my abilities. Every little gesture matters
The most rewarding moment of my career was when a client showed his appreciation by sending a thank you note, and a little treat after his complex claim was approved. I was honoured that my hard work was deeply appreciated, and every gesture reminds me of my purpose in this career.
