I began my journey in the financial advisory industry in September 2022, shortly after graduating from Hwa Chong Institution. Originally torn between psychology, education, and motivational speaking, I sought a career that could seamlessly integrate all these interests. The opportunity to make a significant impact in people’s lives was a common thread linking my passions, and it ultimately guided me toward financial consulting.

The transformative AAG Internship of 2022 was the catalyst that reshaped my career trajectory. Initially, I was skeptical about the path of a financial consultant, as it seemed distant from my interests. However, the experiences and personal stories I encountered during the internship illuminated the profound impact this role could have. It became clear that as a financial consultant, I could educate, motivate, and listen effectively, empowering clients to achieve their financial goals while realising their dreams. This role uniquely blends my desire to impact lives directly and meaningfully.

One of the most valuable lessons I have learned so far is the extensive impact I can have on a person’s life. This realisation came from the heartfelt stories and feedback from my clients, who have benefited from the financial strategies we implemented together. Their appreciation and the visible differences in their lives reinforce my commitment to this profession and drive me to continuously improve and make a difference.

The expressions of gratitude from clients and the tangible results of my work keep me motivated. Knowing that I am helping people not just financially, but also by providing peace of mind and facilitating their life goals, provides a deep sense of fulfillment.
