I joined the financial services upon graduation from Nanyang Technological University. Despite holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Engineering, I rejected the opportunity to pursue my PhD at the Imperial College, London and chose to become a financial consultant instead. I am proud to be part of the AIA family and my accolades include being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and receiving the International Dragon Award (IDA). I look forward to the future and to leading a sizable team with highly talented financial consultants as we continue to bring forth a positive impact on the lives of our fellow men.

These are the key drivers that keep me motivated as a financial consultant. Aside from being a financial consultant, I also play the role of friend and counsellor to my clients.

Honesty is my biggest strength.

As a financial consultant, I handle clients’ money and having my clients’ trust in me is of utmost importance, allowing me to do my best job for them.

Placing yourself in my clients’ shoes.

Whenever I do financial planning for my clients, I always place myself in their situation. This is my biggest Unique Selling Point as they know that the plans that I recommend to them would be the very same plans that I will recommend for myself.

My proudest career achievement.

Earning the 100 IDA in 2018 is one of my proudest achievements in my journey so far. Being part of the 1st agency in Singapore to achieve this accolade and to be able to put Singapore and AIA Singapore into 100 IDA teams in the Asia Pacific region is not an easy feat, and everyone in AAG put our minds and effort into creating this historical moment.
