I’ve been a financial consultant for 7 years, and my accolades include winner of the International Dragon Award 2020 – Bronze Dragon Award and member of the Million Dollar Round Table 2020, I started my foray in the field in 2013 after a career as an airline cabin crew member. I am also a member of AIA Financial Advisers Prestige Gold Club 2020.

Apart from my financial advisory duties, I also organise Will and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) seminars to allow people to learn more about the importance of the topic.

It’s about service.

To be a financial consultant, you must have the attitude to serve. Always have a willingness to learn more about both your job and your clients, and you must have a strong work ethic to survive in this service-oriented business. Most importantly, you need to be a good team player with everybody whom you work with.

Educating the public.

My decision to join the industry was inspired by my mother who had little knowledge in financial planning, and it resulted in me working from the age of 14 for my own pocket money and tuition fees.

With the knowledge I have now, I wish to not only help myself and my family, but also with everybody else that I know around me.

Technology helps us do better.

With technology now aiding us in discharging our financial advisory duties, we are doing lesser and lesser manual work and dedicating more and more of our time to serving our clients well and upgrading our own technical knowledge. This is why financial consultants are getting more and more savvy as the years go by, and this only serves to benefit our clients.
