For all my life I was told to go to school, get good grades and get a good job to work for someone else. As I grew up I realized working for someone else just makes their dreams come true, not mine, not my family’s nor the people I care for. I joined the financial advisory industry in 2021 and it has been a true blessing in my life as I am now able to help my loved ones and the people around me get closer to their goals and mine as well.

The conversations I now have and the bonds I’ve forged over this time are priceless. I am truly so happy to have a career where it revolves around genuine friendships and honest conversations. The most rewarding moments are when I get to service my clients and loved ones through gifts and appreciation events. The smiles on their faces during the festive season and the laughter we share truly fuel me to always have a human touch in my process. At the end of the day, it’s so heartwarming that I get to protect lives, help people reach their goals and still get to see the smiles on their faces.

My parents are my biggest motivation. They have given me the world and now I aim to repay that tenfold. My father always told me to remain humble no matter how high I fly and my mother always taught me to first be the change I want to see in the world. These are the personal values that I hold dear. The value of this career is the value of my service to others. Never in my life did I think that in giving in terms of this service, would I receive so much more. This is why I am always reminded by my seniors to give wholeheartedly and never think about how much I can receive.

Honesty. Being genuine in your approach and conversations
At the crux of this business is people and how we treat others will ultimately reflect how this business will treat us. A lot of people listen to reply but for me, it is so important to listen to understand and reply when one is understood. The person you are to others will be a reflection of how far we can go in this business. It is so crucial to develop your mind and habits to be a better individual and a nice person. It’s all about being that nice person talking to another nice person and it all starts from there.
